Privacy Policy

Linkepix is built to be local-first. The short version: your API keys and the images you generate stay in your own browser. We keep an account (email) so you can sign in, but we don't keep your prospects, keys, or images on our servers.

What stays on your device

• API keys. The OpenAI and Google (Gemini) keys you enter are stored only in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to Linkepix servers.
• Generated images. Images you create are stored locally in your browser and are not uploaded to us.
• Your company & prospect details. The company info and prospect text you work with stay in your browser session.

The Chrome extension

When you open a LinkedIn profile and click the Linkepix button, the extension reads what is visible on the page you are already viewing in your own logged-in session (name, role, company, public photo) to prepare the illustration. It does not log into anything on your behalf, does not store credentials, and does not scrape pages in the background.

Third-party AI providers

To generate an image and message, the relevant text prompt is sent directly from your browser to the AI providers whose keys you supply — currently OpenAI and Google (Gemini) — so they can return a result. Their handling of that request is governed by their own privacy policies. Linkepix is not a party to that exchange beyond constructing the prompt.

We do not create real photographic likenesses of any person. Illustrations use broad, non-identifying cues only (such as hair, glasses, or outfit) to style a non-photorealistic cartoon character.

Your account

To use the Linkepix web app you create an account with your email address and a password. We use Supabase (our authentication and database provider) to store your email and an encrypted password so you can sign in. We do not store your API keys, prospects, or generated images on our servers — those stay in your browser.

If you send us feedback or report an image from inside the app, we save that message (and a 👍/👎 or report reason) in our database, linked to your account, so we can act on it. You can ask us to delete your account and this data at any time by emailing hello@linkepix.com.

Hosting & analytics

This site is served as static files through Cloudflare. Standard, aggregated server and edge logs (such as request counts) may be processed by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not use these to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal data.

Your choices

Because data lives in your browser, you can clear it at any time by clearing the site's local storage or removing the extension. Removing the extension stops all page reading.
